After Norway, Italy has, since 2011, been at the forefront worldwide, by introducing mandatory gender quotas under penalty of dissolution of boards of directors. Since 2020 mandatory gender quotas have even been raised up to 40% of directors and members of supervisory boards for Italian-listed companies (from 33%). However, diversity should not be limited to gender only; consideration of different kinds of diversity (professional background, socio-economic class, ethnicity, sexual orientation, minority representation, etc.) has been increasing worldwide through hard or soft law, or simply because of pressure from investors.

Le importanti novità della proposta di nuova Direttiva Europea” che si svolgerà mercoledì 5 maggio alle ore 16.00.
Il 21 aprile 2021 la Commissione Europea ha adottato una proposta di Direttiva sul reporting di informazioni di sostenibilità (“Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive” o anche “CSRD”), che andrebbe a modificare gli attuali obblighi di comunicazione previsti dalla Direttiva sulle non financial information (NFRD), adottata in Italia con il D.Lgs 254/16 estendendo l’ambito di applicazione a tutti gli EIP ed alle società non quotate con più di 250 dipendenti.
Nel corso del webinar verranno illustrate le importanti novità della proposta di Direttiva con particolare focus sull’ambito di applicazione, sui requisiti informativi, sugli obblighi di assurance, sugli standard di riferimento e sui
